Key:
From the factory, your vehicles anti-theft alarm system will flash the turning signals of your car once in order to indicate that the car has been both locked and that the anti-theft alarm system has been armed.
VAG Car Coding can reconfigure the anti-theft alarm system so that it will also "beep" once in addition to and in sync with the default turn signal flash.
From the factory, your vehicles anti-theft alarm system will flash the turning signals of your car twice in order to indicate that the anti-theft alarm system has been disarmed and that the car has been unlocked.
VAG Car Coding can reconfigured the anti-theft alarm system so that it will also "beep" twice in addition to and in sync with the default turn signals flashing.
From the factory, vehicles equipped with comfort closing supply no confirmation once closing of all the open windows has been completed.
VAG Car Coding can reconfigure your vehicles anti-theft alarm system to supply an additional turn signal flash once comfort closing of all open windows, and sunroof if you have one, has been completed and the anti-theft alarm system has been armed, informing you that your vehicle is secure.
From the factory, vehicles manufactured from 20134 onwards do not allow their Daytime Running Lights to be turned off whilst a key is in the ignition, the ignition is in the accessory position, or while the engine is running.
VAG Car Coding can disable your vehicles Daytime Running Lights so that they remain off at all times.
From the factory, European vehicles manufactured from 2013 onwards do not allow their Daytime Running Lights to be turned off whilst a key is in the ignition, the ignition is in the accessory position, or while the engine is running.
VAG Car Coding can activate a menu control which will allow you to toggle your Daytime Running Lights on and off as needed.
From the factory, European vehicles manufactured from 2013 onwards do not allow their Daytime Running Lights to be turned off whilst a key is in the ignition, the ignition is in the accessory position, or while the engine is running.
VAG Car Coding can reconfigure your vehicles lights to automatically switch off when your handbrake is applied, switching back on again once your handbrake is released.
From the factory, European vehicles manufactured from 2013 onwards do not allow their Daytime Running Lights to be turned off whilst key is in the ignition, the ignition is in the accessory position, or while the engine is running.
VAG Car Coding can reconfigured your vehicles lights so that they will turn off when your light switch is in the off or 0 position.
From the factory, vehicles equipped with the Automatic Lights feature have a Coming Home and Leaving Home Lights feature, which by default will use both the vehicles Daytime Running Lights and Low Beams.
VAG Car Coding can reconfigure this feature to use Daytime only, Fog Lights only, Low Beams only, or indeed a combination of all three lighting options, for example Daytime Running Lights and Fog Light.
From the factory, vehicles equipped with the Automatic Lights feature will have the Coming Home Lights turn on when the engine has been switched off and the drivers door is opened.
VAG Car Coding can reconfigure this feature so that the Coming Home Lights will turn on when the key is removed from the ignition instead.
From the factory, when one of your vehicles front turning signals is activated the related Daytime Running Light will dim down to approximately 30% of its total brightness. Some early vehicles will actually turn the related Daytime Running Light off completely for the duration of the indication.
VAG Car Coding can reconfigure the Daytime Running Lights to Dim to any desired level or indeed remain at full brightness whilst your vehicles indicators are active.
Within the main Electronic Control Module of your vehicle there is an option to have your vehicles headlights automatically activate when the vehicle is travelling above 140km/h. Depending on the year of your vehicle this feature may be configured to be active by default from the factory.
VAG Car Coding can reconfigure this feature to be activated or deactivated as needed.
From the factory, vehicle manufactured before late 2016 will only have their rear side light activate while either the front side lights and or dipped beams are on.
VAG Car Coding can reconfigured the rear side lights to function as Daytime Running Lights, activating in sync with the cars normal Daytime Running Lights.
From the factory, your vehicles rear inner and outer cluster turn signals will flash in sync when activated.
VAG Car Coding can reconfigured your turn signals so that when activated they flash out of sync with each other, creating a semi-dynamic or "pace car" effect. This effect also carries over to the anti-theft alarm system flashing and the vehicles hazard lights.
From the factory, vehicles without adaptive Xenon or LED headlights do not come supplied with cornering lights, a feature which activates an additional light in the direction which your vehicle is turning in order to provide additional light.
Vehicles which have factory supplied or indeed retrofitted fog lights can have these lights re-configured to activate based on steering angle in order to provide additional lighting when cornering.
From the factory, European vehicle turning signals are configured to be off at all times unless they are being used to signal a change in direction or unless they are going used as hazard lights.
VAG Car Coding can reconfigure your vehicles turning signals, both the front and the rear, so that they function as American or USA style side Lights, remaining on and dimly lit in order to function as Daytime Running Lights.
From the factory, vehicles equipped with the Audi MMI4G version 1 systems will not automatically change your vehicles clocks in sync with Daylight Savings Time.
VAG Car Coding can reconfigure your vehicles MMI so that the vehicles clocks will automatically change in sync with both Daylight Savings Time and GPS signals.

VAG Car Coding can activate this feature on non S and RS vehicles.
From the factory, your vehicle is configured with a motorway / soft touch turn signal feature which allows you to activate a pre-set number of turning signal flashes without having to fully engage your vehicles indicator stalk. This turn signal count is normally configured to be 3 flashes.
VAG Car Coding can reconfigure this feature to be between a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 5 flashes.
Vehicles with either factory supplied or retrofitted OEM Power Adjustable and Folding Mirrors, when in reverse gear the passenger side mirror will automatically dip down in order to display the kerb and any possible obstructions.
